Fanara Fine Arts Privacy Policy
Last updated October 20, 2026
Fanara Fine Arts LLC ("Fanara Fine Arts," "we," "us," or "our") operates fanarafinearts.com from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information when you visit our website, purchase artwork or studio tools, request a commission, subscribe to updates, or contact us.
Questions or privacy requests may be sent to philip@fanarafinearts.com.
1 Information we collect
Information you provide. Depending on how you interact with us, we collect your name, email address, billing and delivery addresses, telephone number, order details, and correspondence. Commission inquiries may include reference photographs, project descriptions, preferences, and other materials you choose to provide. We also collect information you submit through customer accounts, newsletter subscriptions, product availability requests, and reviews. Please provide information about another person only when you have permission to do so.
Payment information. Payments are processed through third-party payment services, including Stripe and any other payment provider identified at checkout. Those providers collect the payment details needed to complete your transaction. We receive transaction information, such as payment status and limited payment-method details, rather than your complete card number or card security code. Do not send payment-card details by email or through our contact form.
Information collected automatically. Our website and its service providers collect technical and usage information, which may include your IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device information, referring pages, pages viewed, interactions, searches, and visit times. Cookies and similar technologies support some of this collection. We may also receive delivery updates, payment confirmations, and fraud-prevention information from providers involved in your transaction.
2 How we use information
We use personal information to process and deliver purchases; respond to inquiries and commission requests; manage customer accounts; provide product instructions and support; handle returns, refunds, and payment disputes; and maintain transaction records. We also use information to understand website activity, improve our products and website, prevent misuse or fraud, and meet legal obligations.
If you subscribe to the Collector's Circle or otherwise choose to receive marketing, we use your contact information to send news about paintings, studio tools, and offers. We may send product availability notices you request and invitations to review a purchase. If abandoned-checkout reminders are enabled, information entered during checkout may be used to remind you about an unfinished purchase, subject to applicable law and your choices.
3 How information is disclosed
We disclose information to providers that help operate our business, including our website and store platform, payment services, shipping carriers and label services, email and communications providers, and providers of accounting, security, and technical support. They receive information relevant to the services they provide.
Squarespace hosts our website and supports features such as our store, forms, customer accounts, and analytics. It processes information on our behalf and also processes certain website usage information for its own purposes, as described in its privacy policy. Payment providers likewise have their own responsibilities and privacy practices.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, address fraud or security threats, protect legal rights, or work with professional advisers. Information may also be transferred as part of a business sale or reorganization, subject to applicable protections.
We do not sell or rent customer contact lists to other businesses for their own marketing. Operational disclosures and third-party collection described in this policy still occur.
Reviews you submit for public display may appear with the display name and content you provide. Avoid including private information in a public review. Submitting a private inquiry or commission reference does not by itself authorize us to publish it as advertising.
4 Cookies and outside services
Cookies and similar technologies help operate checkout and accounts, remember preferences, and measure website traffic. Some are necessary for the website to function; others support analytics or optional features. Use your browser settings and any cookie controls displayed on the website to manage them. Blocking cookies may affect checkout, accounts, or video playback.
Our site includes Vimeo video content and may link to YouTube or social platforms. Where Google services such as reCAPTCHA or checkout address suggestions are used, Google receives information needed to provide those features. Embedded services may receive device, browsing, and interaction information when their content loads or is used. Some providers may recognize you across websites or associate activity with an account you hold with them. Their privacy notices explain their practices and choices.
Our website does not provide a uniform response to browser Do Not Track signals. Enabling that setting may not stop analytics or collection by embedded services. Do Not Track is different from Global Privacy Control and other legally recognized opt-out preference signals. We honor such signals where applicable law requires us to do so.

5 Your choices and privacy requests
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. You can also ask us to stop optional review invitations or checkout reminders. We may still send necessary order, service, safety, or legal communications.
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you, email philip@fanarafinearts.com. Depending on the laws that apply to you and our business, you may also have rights to obtain a portable copy, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain disclosures or targeted advertising. These rights are subject to applicable exceptions and verification requirements.
We may request information reasonably needed to verify your identity or an authorized agent's authority. If a request is denied, you may ask us to review the decision by replying to our response. We will provide any additional appeal or complaint information required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising legally protected privacy rights.
6 Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including fulfilling orders, providing support, maintaining tax and accounting records, addressing disputes, and satisfying legal requirements. Retention depends on the information and our obligations; a deletion request may not require deletion of records we must retain.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to our business. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your account credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorized account activity.
7 Children and international visitors
Our website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We operate in the United States. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. Any protections or transfer safeguards required by applicable law continue to apply.
8 Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The current version and its updated date will appear on this page. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.
